    How is Black Seed honey different from local honey?

    While all  honey contains the compounds that make it anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antibacterial, Black Seed honey contains extra antioxidants, antibacterial properties and respiratory problems reliever from the black seed, on top of helping maintain daily wellness and vitality, and support optimal digestive and immune health.

  • Why is Black Seed honey more expensive than regular/local honey?

    Black Seed honey is a rare honey variety produced by bees which collect nectar from Black Seed flower. It is highly superior to regular highly processed honey found in your local grocery store. Most regular honey in grocery stores has either been heated to high temperatures (which removes the beneficial properties) or blended with lower-quality sweeteners. 

    Compared to other types of honey, Black Seed is darker in colour, has a richer flavour profile, and a much thicker texture.

    YES! Our honey is Non-GMO and antibiotic free. All El Nahl honey is third party tested for these properties and the results are provided for our customers' ease of mind.

  • Is your El Nahl honey pasteurised/processed?

    Our raw El Nahl honey is not pasteurised. Honey is highly sensitive to heat, and the pasteurisation process can compromise the valuable compounds within honey, including those that contribute to its wellness-supporting properties.

    When beekeeping is carried out with care, respect for the bees and their natural processes, and ethical practices, there is no need for the pasteurisation process, which can actually harm the quality of the honey.

    We carefully strain our honey to remove large particles, without fine filtration, which would remove pollen and other beneficial components. These gentle procedures enable El Nahl Black Seed honey to preserve all the natural goodness and properties it contains

    How much Black Seed honey should I take each day?

    A standard daily portion of El Nahl Black Seed honey ranges from 2- 3 tablespoons for adults, 1 - 2 tablespoons for kids, and 1 spoon for children aged one year or older. Feel free to consume more as desired, especially when substituting Black Seed Honey for refined or processed sugars in your diet.

    How do I look after my Black Seed Honey?

To maximise its freshness, keep it in its original packaging or a glass or plastic container (avoid metal) in a cool, dry place—no need for refrigeration.

    Unlike some other honey types, our Black Seed Honey may naturally change in texture over time, potentially crystallising or hardening. Don't worry if you notice tiny crystal-like formations; we have an easy guide on how to soften it if needed.   • How long will my Black Seed honey last me?

    The longevity of each pack of honey depends on the specific product you choose and how you use it. We generally recommend taking 15g (one tablespoon) daily to reap the benefits of our honey.

    Regular Pack (425g), approximately 28 tablespoons (15g) servings

    Does Black Seed honey expire?

    The best-by date on honey products doesn't indicate spoilage or expiration on that specific date; rather, it mostly refers to the quality of the honey being best before that date. Our Black Seed honey has a shelf life of two years, but with proper storage, it can remain viable for even longer.

    Can I heat it/put it in boiling water?

    Our Black Seed honey is raw. You can add it to a hot drink, but make sure the water is not boiling. Avoid subjecting it to high heat, such as baking or cooking; instead, drizzle the honey on after heating.

    Can infants eat Black Seed honey?

    We do not recommend infants 12 months or younger consume our Black Seed honey.

    We use glass jars for our honey because they keep it fresh and pure. Glass doesn't absorb or release any unwanted odours or chemicals into the honey, so it stays natural and uncontaminated. Plus, glass jars create a tight seal, keeping the honey fresh.

    We also prefer glass for its eco-friendliness. Glass is 100% recyclable, can be recycled endlessly without losing quality, and doesn't harm the environment when recycled.

  • Do you ship internationally?

    We currently only ship within Singapore and Brunei, unless you would like to place an order greater than $500 SGD value and are not based in Australia, New Zealand, or Saudi Arabia (due to import restrictions and partnerships in these countries), in which case, we will see what we can do for you.

    How much is shipping?


    Shipping is free for orders above S$50 in Singapore. For orders that do not meet those requirements, we offer a flat shipping rate of S$10 islandwide.

    NOTE: If you are placing an order and the subtotal exceeds $300, you may be subject to additional taxes during shipment.If the subtotal is lower than $300, you will only need to pay the amount stated at checkout.

    To ensure a smooth shopping experience and to avoid any unexpected tax charges, it is advisable that you split your purchase into separate transactions if your total order value exceeds $300.

    How do I track my order?

    Once you place an order with us, you will receive tracking email updates as soon as your parcel gets scanned in by your shipping carrier, and a tracking number to easily follow the journey of your package. 

    Deliveries are made via a third-party partner. They will contact you via the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of the package’s arrival.

    We work with SF International to get your orders to you in the best way and ensure you get your order as fast as possible.

  • How do I change the address/details of my order?

    Once an order is placed, we cannot make any changes as we have a very quick turnaround time to get your order to you as fast as possible. So please ensure that you double check your details when entering them at checkout!

    How long will my order take to arrive?

    It typically takes between 3-5 working days (Monday to Friday) for goods to arrive at your destination.

    Shipping address

    We will only ship to addresses provided in the billing address during your purchase.

    Please ensure the correct address and reachable phone number has been provided when completing your order. We only deliver to valid legitimate shipping addresses and do not ship to P.O Boxes (Post-Office Box).

    We will not be liable in the event of an incorrect shipping address and goods are returned to us.

    All re-delivery of goods to you will be charged for any associated shipping charges which will be disclosed upon request for a second delivery attempt.

  • What do I do if my order was delayed or lost during delivery?

    We are really sorry for this delay and that your package has not been delivered to you on time. 

    Please reach out to us at, and we will get to the bottom of the issue and make up for this on our end as best we can.

    What if my item is defective?

    We will replace your product at no cost if it is incorrect or defective. In some cases, we may request for the defective item to be returned to our headquarters to pass on to our quality control team, so we can prevent this from happening in the future. 

    Returned items must meet the following requirements:

    • The item must be shipped back to us within 7 working days upon receipt. (as proved by the postal or courier receipt).
    • You have proof of purchase (order invoice number and receipt).
    • Item must be in new condition and returned in its original packaging and free gifts received with it. All packaging must be unused, unmarked and not defaced in any manner.
    • Item must be returned in the original box (or with, at least, suitable packaging) to protect the Product from damage during return delivered.

    Customer will be responsible for all shipping charges to return goods. Returns are applicable only for a complete El Nahl product.

    We reserve the right to reject any cancellation, refund that is deemed unfit or unreasonable.

    No, we do not. However, we will replace your product at no cost if it is incorrect or defective.

    Can I return my product if I do not like it?

    We do not accept returns for a change of mind, so please choose carefully when ordering.
